Was a gift for my daughter who loves flamingos. Got it for her to carry her lunch as she starts a new career in teaching this fall.This lunchbox is not like the Tardis and “bigger on the inside”. It is quite small and would only be good for a single plastic container, if that. The bag is cute, but doesn’t hold a lot.I was out of town attending a workshop and put a package of sliced cheese and a package of lunchmeat and a bottle of water in it without an ice pack. at lunchtime the insulation had kept it below room temperature and safe to eat hooray. Imagine how well this would work if I had remembered to bring the ice pack with itBought the box for my wife. It was a little bit smaller than expected.I had to replace my old insulated lunch bag and since I love flamingo print, thus bag was perfect. It keeps my stuff cold for at least 6 hours ( haven’t gone longer than that yet so I don’t know) and I can fit a water bottle in there too. I like the outside side pocket for my granola bars.More than a lunch tote. Handy for phone, money, keys for short trips.This lunch bag is a wonderful size and lightweight, with great material for the insulated liner. Unfortunately, the printed outside on the one I received has an awful smell. I'll leave it in my attic for a while and hopefully it will dissipate.
