I can't say enough good things about this electric lunchbox. Using about the same electricity as a lightbulb, this unit slowly and evenly heats your food. Unlike a microwave, your food will stay moist throughout and herein lies the only bad point - When you first open the lunchbox after cooking, the lid collects quite a bit of condensation and you have to be careful to not let it drip everywhere (including yourself!).Cooking takes about an hour or so and you can heat things like soups, stews, cooked pastas, and even enchiladas (see picture). It works pretty well at reheating leftovers as well.My Take: I would recommend this lunchbox to anyone looking for an easy way to heat up your food when a regular kitchen isn't an option.I got this as a sweetest day gift for my fiancé and so far he enjoys it. Definitely said that food heats up in 30 minutes after plugging it in the car, his work truck and even at home . I highly recommend this for your lunch if you want to warm up home cook meals (and save money) .Only issue with this product that does work awesome is the cords that come with it are not long enough for my use but I make it work, that's the only reason I only give it 4 starsTake about 30+ min to heat other then that great itemLoved how convenient it is! Works perfectly. Heats food up quickly. Wish I knew about it sooner!What a simple, but GREAT idea. This has been perfect for taking food to my husband who is in memory care. It doesn't leak, it heats gently so doesn't burn food, holds a LOT, cleans so easily, and the carry bag makes it very simple to transport (and even has space to throw in a knife, napkins, etc.).For timing, if food is already warm (and it will keep it warm for quite a while), allow 30 minutes to heat it up fully. If food is cool or cold, allow 45 minutes to an hour.Also, since holding hot food or reheating cooks it further, I undercook vegetables so they don't end up over cooked. I also add sauces or gravy just before reheating so the foods don't absorb it while standing.I highly recommend this product.I am extremely impressed by this item and it will save me a fortune eating rubbish on the road!, I am used to spending about 5 to 10 a day on food and drink but this is going to save me lots in the food department.I took leftover stew in to work chilled inside a sandwich box then inside this and that then went into the insulated supplied bag which lasts until 12ish then I tip it out into the container replace the lid then turn it on, 35 to 40 mins later its bubbling, I love it! Good food at last in my van instead of meal deal and chippy, buy it as its great!Got this for my son, he’s a lorry driver and often only has a short stop. This gives him warm food and heats while he’s driving. Leak proof and easy to clean. Saves him money as not using café and service stations to eat. He absolutely loves it, uses every day! Best investment I’ve made in a long time.Had this since May 22 it's an excellent item for work for hot meals even when you put a ready meal in on a timer for when you get in from work takes about 40 minutes to get very hot It's a must for someone on the go I give it 97/100I find it takes longer to heat than is claimed on the user manual, but if you give it an hour or two, even with previously frozen food, the result is excellent. Its a really good size, well designed, and allows me to have quality home cooked food at work. I wish I'd known about it sooner.These little lunchbox is ideal for anyone on the road all week. Take about 20 to 25 mins and food is hot. If food is really cold the it does take about 30 to 40 mins but even that is spot on. Would definitely recommend.
