Description

Volant air intake systems are designed to improve engine efficiency and increase power output for a better driving experience. Each Volant intake utilizes a high-velocity venture filter adapter which provides a smooth transition into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air increasing Horsepower and Torque. This model includes a Pro-5, re-usable, 5 layer cotton gauze air filter which requires re-oiling every 15-20, 000 miles and serviced every 50, 000 miles with cleaning kit P/N 5100 to maintain optimum performance.

    Conventional cellulose fibers are larger than Ultra-Web nanofibers, and have larger spaces between the fibers, causing contaminant to load in the depth of the media and plug the airflow path

    Ultra-Web nanofibers have submicron diameters and small inter fiber spaces, which result in more contaminant being captured on the surface of the media and lower restriction
